Durkopp 558 eyelet button hole...
front pocket cover-stitch (with single looper zigzag action)...
chain-stitch hem by 43200G (of course)...
extra tight stitching on the hand welted yoke...
Back pocket lining...
inside left pocket label...
viapiana label ...
inside right pocket label...

i'll take requests on denim challenges...

Chalking the pattern

This part of the process is what makes your original pattern come out as you desired it to be.. even a quarter of an inch off, and the cutting is ruined.. the jeans would not be what they were meant to be.  This one came out just fine.. check out the next couple posts for some construction posts.. as well as finished product posts...

custom jeans (it has been a while)

sorry for the lack of posts recently... here are 5 pics of one of the latest jeans i did for a friend.  The naturally damaged leather gave the jeans a nice vintage feel to them.. the back rise and yokes are hand welted for the classic single needle sewing..  they are also hemmed with the 43200G union special chain-stitcher...
